Continuity from coating to drying
The tunnel is the section where colours, pigments and products applied in the spray booth or roller coater are dried on the leather. Conveying, air filtration and heating all contribute to the result. Danese supplies the main consumables and replacement parts for this stage.
Leather conveying: Perlon monofilament and meshes
Leather can be carried by Perlon monofilament or fibreglass meshes, according to the line design. A dedicated tunnel mesh separates this section from the product application area, where the conveying system may become dirty. We supply both options, sized for the machine.
Perlon monofilament
Monofilament is supplied on reels for leather conveying systems. Replacement selection requires comparison of diameter, path and machine requirements.
Fibreglass conveyor meshes
We supply square-mesh fibreglass conveyors for tunnels. Mesh size, width, loop length and joint must be checked against the sample and existing configuration.
Transfer brushes between booth and tunnel
We can also supply brushes used at the transfer between a rotary spray booth or roller coater and the drying tunnel. Dimensions, mounting and working position help identify the right solution for the line.
White-blue filter media and catalytic panels
Tunnel air filter media
The white-blue filter medium captures particles in the air. Its blue resin treatment promotes dust capture and helps limit passage into the drying area. We supply rolls 1 m or 2 m wide. Selection must be checked for the air circuit and tunnel operating conditions.
Catalytic panels for gas tunnels
Replacement catalytic panels are available for gas tunnels designed to use them. Selection requires comparison with the type, dimensions and specifications of the installed panel. Tunnels may also use steam heating; heating parts depend on the machine technology.
