Danese and the environment: our progress
Danese Srl has started a process to improve its environmental management, with attention to resource use and activities within the leather supply chain.
Work in progress; no certification obtained yet
The process is ongoing. Danese has not yet obtained environmental certification and does not present its management system as ISO 14001 certified.
Our objectives
- Improve the management of consumption and resources.
- Develop more structured monitoring of environmental impacts.
- Encourage attention to traceability and process improvement.
- Communicate the status of our progress and initiatives clearly.
ISO 14000 and ISO 14001
ISO 14000 is a family of environmental management standards. ISO 14001 sets requirements for an environmental management system that can be certified. Referring to these standards does not mean that certification has been obtained.
Danese Climate Mitigation Park
Danese’s initiatives include the Climate Mitigation Park, a local project dedicated to biodiversity and reforestation. The video presents its context and activities. The project forms part of our environmental work; it does not constitute certification or a claim of climate neutrality.
