Leather toggles secure hides to toggling frames during drying and stretching. Danese offers three families: FITAI® Type A, IC and plastic PN, selected according to the application and working conditions.
Three toggle families
FITAI® Type A
A high-strength aluminium toggle with added Fitaina®. This range is designed for intensive use and durability, with a traditional wing-lever configuration.
IC
An economical metal version, identified by its single lever. It is intended for standard applications where initial cost is a key selection criterion.
Plastic PN
A coloured toggle for acidic environments or valuable leathers, where reducing the risk of marks from aluminium oxidation is important. The colour makes it easier to identify in the department.
FITAI: value that shows over time
New. After 15 years. After 30 years.
Three FITAI clamps, three histories of use: the original photographs show how their surfaces change over time. The aluminium construction with added Fitaina® is designed for customers seeking a clamp for intensive use and continuity in production.
Look beyond the purchase price
When comparing clamps, consider wear resistance, replacement frequency and the cost of use over time. IC offers a low initial investment; FITAI Type A is the range’s choice focused on durability in intensive use.

Choosing a toggle
Consider the frame type, fastening arrangement, usage intensity and working environment. To replace an existing toggle, send photos and relevant dimensions for comparison. Check the material selection against your process and the leather being handled.
Availability and supply
The three families are normally held in stock. Before ordering, ask for confirmation of the version, availability and quantity required.
