Keep your tannery drum working with the right replacement part
Drums are used in many stages of leather production, from beamhouse treatments to tanning, retanning, dyeing and fatliquoring, depending on the process. Door sealing, water quantity and power transmission each play a part in daily operation. Danese supplies replacement parts for wear, leaks and maintenance requirements, starting by identifying the component fitted to your machine.
Door seals: inflatable frames and continuous profiles
A worn seal or an unsuitable section can affect door sealing. We supply closed-frame inflatable seals and continuous extruded sealing profiles supplied in rolls. Selection requires checking the section, dimensions and mounting groove: a similar appearance alone does not establish compatibility.
Gasket cross-sections: OMEGA, ROUND 25×10, T and VALLERO

The illustration shows the gasket cross-sections viewed face-on at the cut end, revealing the profile outline and internal bores. The drawing is illustrative and not to scale. Check the profile, dimensions and mounting groove to select the replacement.
Water meters: knowing how much water enters the drum

Measuring the water charge allows the litres introduced to be compared with the amount required by the process. We supply water meters for this purpose. To identify a suitable unit, provide details of the existing meter, connections, operating conditions and quantities to measure. The photograph shows an example component.
Doors, gears and gearboxes

We can supply drum doors, gears and pinions in plastic or bronze, depending on the application, as well as reconditioned gearboxes. When a transmission is worn or a gearbox needs replacing, identifying the assembly helps avoid choosing by appearance alone. Send the nameplate, photographs and any available drawings or part references.
Parts for older drum brands too
We also handle enquiries for older drum brands such as Vallero and Billeri. We can supply parts for installations whose manufacturer is no longer active, checking the component and supply options case by case. The brand name alone does not identify every variant fitted over the years.
Identify the right part for your drum
Tell us the make, model, problem and component to replace. Include nameplate and part photographs. For seals, add a face-on section photograph, dimensions and mounting groove details. For transmission parts, provide available references and measurements.
