Less lifting, more regular feeding

The Danese manipulator is an accessory for fleshing machines and presses that helps lift and transfer wet hides. It reduces physical handling and helps shorten the wait between hides. Configuration depends on the machine, available space and working cycle.

At the press: one operator attaches the hide

Hides from the drum or tank are often rolled up and difficult to handle. One operator identifies the gripping point and attaches the hide; the manipulator lifts it and takes it to the press. This reduces manual handling that would normally require two people.

At the fleshing machine: from collection box to machine

The operator identifies and attaches a hide in the collection box. The manipulator lifts it and brings it to the fleshing machine, reducing the effort of loading and supporting more continuous feeding. Integration and release sequence are defined for the particular machine.

Electromechanical controls: no PLC, no touchscreen

The control panel uses relays and timers. There is no control software to program, which simplifies fault finding and component replacement. The design prioritises straightforward maintenance and repairability over the equipment’s working life.

One route, one workstation, or a customised arrangement

We build dedicated applications for loading a single fleshing machine, charging laboratory drums and handling during fleshings trimming. One-, two- or three-route configurations can be assessed for the task. Tell us what needs lifting and its starting and destination points so we can assess a suitable arrangement.
