Danese · From our workshops
To truly understand a machine, take a closer look at how it is built.
We welcome you into our workshop in Trissino to present the
Impact D1, the Danese compactor for leather buffing dust,
and the engineering choices behind its operation.

Three engineering choices, one practical approach
In this video, we do more than show the outside of the machine:
we take a closer look at the hydraulic system, electrical controls
and mechanical construction. These are three aspects of our approach
to designing equipment for everyday tannery work.
A properly sized system
The large-capacity oil tank helps limit the rise in temperature
during operation. For hotter working environments, we show the
provision for additional cooling by connecting a
heat exchanger.
Easy to understand
The Impact D1 uses electromechanical components and timers,
without a PLC or touchscreen. A practical choice designed
to make operation, troubleshooting and maintenance straightforward.
Engineered to our specifications
We present the mechanical parts designed by our team
and manufactured to our specifications, with a focus
on strength and durability. This refers to mechanical parts
made to our drawings, not to every standard commercial
component used in the machine.
Our philosophy: a machine should work reliably
and be straightforward to operate and maintain,
without unnecessary complexity.
A closer look in short form
The Impact D1 in four Shorts
Four short clips complement the full presentation.
A series to revisit the details of the machine
and share our approach to engineering.

A practical presentation for tannery professionals
Compacting leather buffing dust reduces its volume and makes it
easier to handle. In this presentation, we focus on the construction
and controls of the Impact D1. Detailed technical specifications
and available configurations can be found on the product page.
The closing summary brings together the three points we want
to convey: properly sized hydraulics, simple controls
and robust mechanics. An approach shaped by our workshop
experience and our understanding of the needs of the leather industry.
