Shavepacker D3 is a compactor for leather shavings and wet leather trimmings, designed for waste handling in tanneries. It compacts the material to reduce occupied volume and simplify handling.
How Shavepacker D3 works
The machine can be positioned at the end of the processing line’s conveyor. It collects and continuously compacts the waste, producing cylindrical or rectangular compacted material according to the configuration.
Volume reduction can reach up to 80%. A lower volume helps limit storage space and waste handling; the result should be assessed against the material and operating conditions.
