Parts for mechanical water removal
Wet presses and setting-out machines need different parts from dry ironing and embossing presses. Danese supplies felts, feeding belts and hydraulic circuit parts, plus blades and sleeves for continuous and discontinuous setting-out machines.
Felts and belts for wet presses
We supply felts of 6,000, 7,000, 8,000 or 9,000 g/m², with widths and dimensions specified for the customer and checked against the press configuration. White, black and green feeding belts are available; material, dimensions and joint must suit the existing transport system.
Accumulators and pressure stability
Accumulators help maintain circuit pressure. If pressure becomes irregular, the accumulator and hydraulic components are among the items to inspect. The symptom alone does not identify the replacement needed. Availability and compatibility are assessed by component codes and machine data. Some manufacturers use exclusive components for which an alternative supply is not always available.
Selection, checks and hydraulic work require qualified personnel and manufacturer specifications. We can assess commercially available components without assuming every part is interchangeable.
Setting-out blades and felt sleeves
For continuous and discontinuous machines we supply setting-out blades, also called stire, which work in the operating group to spread leather and help expel water. Wool and wool-blend felt sleeves are also available, with diameters and dimensions specified for the machine. Identification requires dimensions, mountings and photographs.
