Dry pressing applications, dedicated parts
Platen presses and continuous ironing and embossing machines process dry leather. Parts must suit the pressing assembly and machine type. Danese supplies contact materials, felts, protective layers and feeding belts.
Platen presses: felt pads, rubber and protective film
We supply high-quality felt pads made in Italy and selected for long service life. Dimensions, thickness and edges are specified for the press platen. Black rubber protects the pad; protective film, also known as carteggio, completes the contact assembly and can also be selected for a gloss effect, depending on leather and process.
Continuous ironing and embossing presses
For continuous machines we supply felts, mohair materials to keep cylinders clean with an antistatic function, and felt cleaning products. Selection must consider the machine, operating conditions and maintenance. Ironing and embossing plates can also be supplied, identified by drawing or sample.
Polyurethane leather feeding belts
Feeding belts guide leather into the working zone. White, black and green versions are available. Colour alone does not identify a replacement: material, width, loop length and joint must match the machine and existing belt.
Hydraulics on request, using the press data
We can assess hydraulic pumps for high-pressure presses, including requirements of 250, 300 or 350 bar where specified by the manufacturer. Quotation requires model, code, rated pressure, flow, fluid, connections and circuit data. Replacement pressure ratings and characteristics must match the machine design.
We also supply DN150 pressure gauges for press pressure monitoring. In the specified configuration, the rear diameter is 150 mm and the front diameter is 200 mm. Connections, mounting and measuring range must be checked against the existing component. Hydraulic and control components must be installed and checked by qualified personnel following manufacturer instructions.
For wet presses and setting-out machines
Felts, belts, accumulators and setting-out blades for wet processing are covered on a dedicated page, separate from dry ironing and embossing parts.
Select the part for your press
Send make, model, photographs and dimensions. For felts include format and thickness; for belts width, loop length and joint; for pumps and controls add component codes and data.
